Of A Feather

Every year, I work with Shawna Clingerman to find my Whole Hearted Word of the year. The last few years have been just….well. They’ve been something else! I’m sure you can relate. For 2020, my word was Real – I wanted to be truthful with myself and others about what I thought and what I needed, and I wanted to set realistic goals. That year was a good year for me Word wise, and I’m so thankful for all I learned! For 2021, my word was Care – and man, that was a hard one. I wanted to care for my family very well, and I wanted to learn to care for myself as well. I did not ‘accomplish’ as much in 2021, but I sure did learn a lot. What a year of change!

This year, 2022, my word is Delight. I want to find delight in my work, in my personal relationships, and in my future. It has not been a cake walk in these first 14 days of January (we were hit with Covid, and my husband missed weeks of work). But I am really feeling delight in my work, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year progresses.

Introducing – Of A Feather. I love birds. I like quirky, whimsical birds especially, so I had a great time making these little feathered friends and their accessories. Of A Feather is full of hand drawn embellishments and super fun patterns, and I think you’re going to love it as much as I do!

You can find Of A Feather on sale at ScrapGirls, The Studio and GingerScraps. The team did some beautiful pages with it, and you can see those here too.

I made this cluster especially for my blog readers. Just click the image to download. Don’t forget, you can find other free goodies by subscribing to my newsletter and by joining my Facebook Group. I hope to see you around the web!
