I said this on Instagram the other day, and I stand by it: November feels like the ‘end of the year’. December feels like the holidays for me for some reason, and November makes me almost panic because – crap – the year is almost over! I’m feeling that anxiety rise up in me this week, and trying to combat it with normal, every day life stuff. I know it will all pass in a blur – but there are a few things to set today apart.
Number 1 – Yesterday was November 6th, which means it was Gotcha Day! Yesterday, 16 years ago, I met Melanie Brooke. Unbelievable. There are so many emotions and memories tied up in this day, but the icing over all of them is gratitude. Today she is so far away, and I can’t even hug her, but I love her no less. I’m so thankful to be a mom!
Number 2 – I watched the Sheldon and Amy wedding from The Big Bang Theory today, and even though I have seen it a zillion times, I cried through it. This could be attributed to the emotions from the first point. I love this show. It’s witty and funny and never boring!
Number 3 – Black Magic is now at ALL stores! I know it’s past Halloween, but I also know you probably have some more pictures – either from this year or from years past – that need scrapped. Honestly? I’m going to print some of the papers and embellishments out and make a tag book, even though I didn’t take any pictures of Halloween stuff this year. I’m going to find a picture of someone in a costume and have fun. That just became my Saturday afternoon! You can find it at ScrapGirls, GingerScraps & The Studio. I hope you’ll pick it up.
I know the website is new, and the blog is new, but I hope you’ll hang around with me and get to know me and my life better. I’m also on Instagram where I’m trying to be consistent, and would love to have you around.
